Vander Molen Technology, or VMT, had an unusual start, but continues to adapt to current needs. While in 
college, Joel Vander Molen started working on websites in order to help his church and local organizations. After graduating with his degree in information technology, he looked for work in the Des Moines area. Despite an excellent résumé, he was not hired anywhere and was told to go live in a nursing home. Joel continued to gain more work in web development on his own, and VMT was officially started in 2004.
Since VMT’s inception, technology has changed in many areas, including the way websites are built, viewed, and used. VMT continues to keep up with industry trends to help your business or organization keep an updated online presence that works for everyone. Due to health and time concerns, we are unable to take every request for web work. However, we do our best to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.
